What you get
The Xbeauty XB850C2 Wall Electric Fireplace is a wall or recessed with a 750-watt heater, which works out to about 2,559 BTU per hour (3.412 BTU per watt).
On a 120-volt outlet that draws about 6.2 amps, most of a standard 15-amp circuit, so other loads on the circuit can trip the breaker. Plug it straight into the wall as the manual directs.
The maker says it heats up to 400 square feet; as with any 120-volt heater, read that as supplemental heat for one room.
Like most electric fireplaces the flame effect can run with the heater off, using far less power.
It mounts on or recesses into a wall; recessed installs need a framed opening and, for larger units, the wiring its manual specifies.
No combustion means no venting, no gas line and no carbon monoxide, which is why they go into bedrooms and apartments.
Also on the listing: overall dimensions of 3.86 in (D) x 50 in (W) x 18.11 in (H) and glass construction.
