About Flueency
Hearth heaters are hard to compare. A wood stove sells on the square feet it 'heats', a gas log set on the BTU its burner consumes, an electric fireplace on a 5,000 BTU figure that every 1,500-watt heater shares. None of those numbers is measured the same way, and none tells you whether the heater suits your room, your chimney or your fuel bill.
Flueency lines the figures up. Every heater sits on a chart with its maker's heating area, heat output, flue size, log length, hopper size, venting type and fuel, and our calculators size a heater to the space you measure and price each fuel per million BTU of heat.
The catalog covers wood stoves and inserts, pellet stoves and inserts, vent-free and direct-vent gas stoves and fireplaces, gas log sets, electric fireplaces and stoves, and the chimney and stove gear that keeps them working: caps, sweep kits, stove fans, thermometers, remotes and pipe.
Independent
Flueency is an independent publication. It doesn't sell, install or service heaters and doesn't accept payment to list one. Some links earn a commission when you buy; the affiliate disclosure explains how, and why it never changes what we list or the order we list it in.

If a figure on a page doesn't match the maker's manual or label, or a part doesn't fit what we say it fits, write to contact@flueency.com and we'll correct it.
