What you get
The BOSHIRO SKU220095-white 72-Inch Electric Fireplace Mantel is a TV stand or mantel with a 1,400-watt heater, which works out to about 4,777 BTU per hour (3.412 BTU per watt).
Its 1,400 watts means 11.7 amps on a household outlet and 1.4 kWh for each hour on high. The fuel cost calculator turns that into your hourly cost.
Like most electric fireplaces the flame effect can run with the heater off, using far less power.
It combines the heater with a cabinet, mantel or TV stand; check the top's weight and screen-size limits in the listing.
Because nothing burns, there's no chimney, vent or carbon monoxide to plan for.
Also on the listing: overall dimensions of 13.6 in (D) x 72 in (W) x 35.6 in (H), a shipping or unit weight of 108.5 lb and high-density hardwood, stone construction.
